Intoxicating story!

I fully understand why all women love Rebel (a beguiling horse) and why the men just don't get it! Poor men!

This story is intoxicating. The plot reflects how people from different environments end up interacting and affecting each others' lives! All the more reason to give a stranger a smile!

Delightful!

In my review of the first book of this saga, Prairie Magic, I described how I half-heartedly began reading this saga. I wasn't particularly interested in the New Age theme. I had been on a roll with steamy romances and gritty thrillers. The Adventure Seekers Saga wasn't serving what I thought I was craving. I'm so glad I changed the channel and gave them a whirl. After finishing Rebel, all I can say is "where's number 3?"

I loved it!

If you like Prairie Magic, you'll love Rebel. Just make sure you read Book 1 before taking on Book 2. While lighthearted and easy to read, the storyline is fast-paced with lots of characters and interweaving plots. Be sure to set aside a chunk of time for both these books. They're impossible to set down!!

Wonderful!

I found Rebel (Book 2 of the saga) to be every bit as funny, thrilling and informative as Prairie Magic (Book 1). I loved learning more about the meaning and uses of Tarot cards and Rune stones, and soaked up instruction on proper applications of essential oils and the benefits of drinking fresh juices. As with Prairie Magic, Rebel's fast-paced storyline kept me on the edge of my seat and the comedy held me in stitches! I was so pleased to learn the Coalition of Visionary Resources (COVR) agreed with my high opinion by awarding Rebel as Winner of Visionary Fiction.

I've become fond of the characters, who I now consider as friends. As expected, Tokada Good Elk was enchanting. His interactions with Victor Garcia were compelling. Together, the two men create a strange variation of The Odd Couple. Christopher Columbus was a hoot. I hope we hear more from him in Book #3. As for Rebel - well, that beautiful black gelding just stole my heart. His encounter with Liz Carrington (at the end of the story) was priceless. He DOES tend to live up to his name!

Rebel picks up right where Prairie Magic left off. Although the saga is easy to read, the storylines move quickly with lots of twists and turns. The characters develop as the plot thickens. You'll definitely want to read these books in order, so go back and read Prairie Magic before cracking this exciting novel. After savoring both, I promise - you'll be glad you did!

My favorite section of Rebel, The Kentucky Derby, was a side-splitting comedy. Still, Tokada's interview with the new reporter offered serious food for thought. The mystery of Patwin and the secret envelope kept me in suspense all the way to the exciting end. I can't wait for the next book!

I would recommend the award-winning, highly acclaimed Adventure Seekers Saga for readers who are interested in Mind/Body/Spirit subjects. Although informative reads, Prairie Magic and Rebel are entertaining stories filled with humor, adventure and contemplative concepts. The books seem appropriate for all ages. While there are a few suggestions of adult matters, the material probably still qualifies as G-Rated. With no swear words or obnoxious scenarios, it's good, clean fun - 'safe' for your teenaged daughter. If all this sounds good to you, I imagine you'll wind up becoming a fan, too.
