Guarantee of Service
We keep it simple: you only pay for the work we actually perform for you. You can cancel any time, and if you cancel partway through a paid period, you're refunded for the part we hadn't yet done.
2How your refund is calculated
Your refund is your fee for the current period, minus the share of the work we've already performed.
We measure what's "performed" by how much of that period's agreed work we've completed or scheduled — posts created and published, articles delivered, campaigns set up — or by the days of the period elapsed, whichever better reflects the work actually done.
3Processing fees
Some refunds carry a small processing fee to cover non-recoverable payment-processor charges or significant setup already done on your account. When a fee applies, it's a flat $[10] (or up to [10]% of the refund), and we'll tell you the exact amount before issuing the refund.
4What isn't refundable
- Advertising spend. Money paid to ad platforms (Meta, Google, ChatGPT, and others) goes directly to those platforms, not to us, and can't be refunded once spent.
- Completed setup. One-time setup or onboarding work, once finished.
- Work already delivered or published. Content we've already created, posted, or handed to you.
- Third-party costs we've already paid on your behalf for the period.
5Canceling and requesting a refund
Cancel any time from your account or by emailing support@blackhills.biz. To request a refund, email us with your account email, the charge date or invoice number, and a brief reason. We'll confirm within one business day and give you a decision within five business days.
6How refunds are issued
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Our side takes up to 10 business days; your bank or card network may take longer. We refund the amount you were charged, in the same currency — we don't cover bank or exchange fees. Refunds under $[10] may be issued as account credit.
7Chargebacks
If something's wrong with a charge, contact us first — we'll work to make it right quickly. Filing a chargeback before reaching out keeps us from helping and may pause or close your account while the dispute is investigated.
8Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes don't apply retroactively to refund requests already made. Questions: support@blackhills.biz. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service.
